OUR PASTOR
Brandon Dollarhite graduated with his Master's of Divinity from in 2006 from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. He continued his education and graduated with his Doctor of Ministry degree in 2013 from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University.
Brandon is married to his lovely wife Andrea who is studying Accounting at Cameron University in Lawton. Brandon and Andrea have two children, Blake and Lauren, who are both very active in their school.
Brandon is in his 11th year of ministry and has a deep calling to spread the love of Christ with all he encounters. Brandon has a deep passion for mission and evangelism both within our community and around the world.
OUR CHURCH
Hobart First United Methodist Church is a community of people who are striving to learn what it means to be devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Since 1926 our church has been in mission and ministry with the community of Hobart as well as many places around the world.
At Hobart First United Methodist Church we believe that God's love is the greatest gift humanity has ever received as well as the best gift we can ever give to others. It is our hope that you would come and share in the life of our congregation.
Each year we take part in the Feed My Sheep program which provides food for children in our community throughout the summer months. We are also partners with our local food pantry where we provide leadership and volunteer help. Throughout the school year we participate in the backpack program which provides children with food for the weekend and long school breaks.
Each Wednesday night during the school year we gather for a fellowship meal at 5:30pm followed by bible studies for various age groups.
